Last weekend I went to Nagoya, I listened to a few seminars about English teaching, and future trends.
I heard four interesting seminars, two in Japanese and two in English. There was a lecture on effective reading of storybooks, future foreign language education, of English of course.
Based on the foreign language education for children, who will be responsible for the future, the teaching side and learning side will become serious, taking into consideration that it will change little by little ..., the individual gaps will widen ..., and the frank opinion is it probably will.
The seminars of Japanese lecturers are based on weaknesses and trends related to English, and in order to receive English exams in Japan, they taught me the necessary skills, etc., for my students and my daughters.
The native lecturer's seminar was energetic from start to finish. The lecturer had the power to attract students, and she talked about the importance of communication skills and persuasive power. I was able to speak frequently among the students with a lively class, so I learned a lot.
Also, the lecturer said that it is important to have students talk frequently. Making a mistake is okay, it is a part of learning. I agree with that.
Even though the break time ended, that lecturer kept talking all the time. It was a very meaningful time.
At night I had a full course of South Indian cuisine with my wife and my longtime friend. The food was delicious, the conversation was interesting, and it was a comfortable time. He is a person with high level communication skills around the world. Communication is important.
Meeting him is also a pleasure of going to Nagoya.

セミナーを受講しに名古屋へ行ってきました。
受講した興味深いセミナーのうち2つは日本語で、2つは英語でした。
ストーリーブックの効果的な読み方、将来の外国語教育、英語の講義がありました。
将来を担う子供たちのための外国語教育が、
今後少しずつ変化していくことを踏まえ、教える側と学習する側ともに、
大変になるだろうなと、個々の格差が広がっていくだろうなと…、
率直な意見です。
日本人講師のセミナーは、日本人の英語に関連する弱点や傾向に基づいたもので、
日本で英語の試験を受けるために必要なスキルなどを教えていただき、
私の生徒や娘たちの為にも、多くを学びました。
ネイティブ講師のセミナーは、最初から最後まで活発で、受講生を引き付けるパワーがあり、
コミュニケーション能力と説得力の重要性について話しました。
活発なクラスで受講生の間でも頻繁に話すことができ、多くを学びました。
また、講師は、間違っても頻繁に話すことが重要であると話し、
間違って当然、大丈夫、間違いも学習の一部。それは私も同感です。
休憩時間が終わったにもかかわらず、その講師と話し続けてしまいましたが、
それはとても有意義な時間でした。
夜は、妻と長年の友人と一緒に南インド料理のフルコースをいただきました。
料理は美味しく、会話も面白く、楽しい時間でした。
友人は世界中を行き来し高度なコミュニケーション能力を持った人です。
コミュニケーションは大切ですね。
彼に会うのも、名古屋に行く楽しみのひとつです。
さて、私は興味深いレッスンを準備しますよ。
